David Duchovny



David William Duchovny (n. Nueva York, 7 de agosto de 1960) es un actor estadounidense de origen judío.

Aunque ha trabajado en el cine y en la televisión con anterioridad, su consagración se produjo gracias al papel del agente Fox Mulder en la serie de televisión The X-Files, en la que dirigió varios episodios.

Su padre fue Amram Duchovny, un escritor ya fallecido, y su madre es Margaret (Meg) Duchovny, una maestra jubilada. David contrajo matrimonio el 6 de mayo de 1997 con la actriz Téa Leoni, protagonista de la serie The Naked Truth y que también apareció en la serie The X-Files, en el episodio Hollywood A.D. El 24 de abril de 1999 nació Madeleine West Duchovny, su primera hija. Tres años después, el 15 de junio de 2002 nació su segundo hijo, un varón llamado Kydd Miller Duchovny.

A una semana de haber salido de una clínica de rehabilitación por su adicción al sexo, el actor David Duchovny -más conocido por su papel de Fox Mulder en Los Expedientes Secretos X- anunció oficialmente que desde hace varios meses está separado de su mujer, la actriz Téa Leoni.

"A raíz de las continuas especulaciones sobre el matrimonio de Téa Leoni y David Duchovny, la pareja confirma que desde hace ya varios meses está separada", se puede leer en el comunicado enviado a la prensa por sus representantes. Además, agrega: "La pareja espera mantener el asunto de forma privada para proteger a sus hijos".

Duchovny y Leoni se casaron en 1997 y tienen dos hijos, Madelaine de 9 años y Kyd, de 6.
